Soccer and Dance

Madison was so excited to take dance this year so we signed her up and thought that Braxton would enjoy playing soccer so he could do something as well. Boy were we wrong! Story below This is Madi in the ISU Homecoming parade. She is having so much fun dancing and is learning great moves.

Ok so this is the morning of Braxtons first soccer game. He was excited and actually did pretty good.

This is his second game .............................sitting down

Standing there lifting up his shirt

He made a goal!! ( during half time while all the other kids are getting drinks!)

He was sooooo tired by now and was crying about having to play so we gave his shirt and shin guards to..............

Madison!! She ran out there and took charge. So Braxton proceeded to cry every game that he was tired before we even got there and Madison had to play for him. Needless to say he doesn't enjoy soccer. (He does cry every time Madi goes to dance though because he can't go!!???) =)

Welcome Kamree Jean!!

We have finally added our new addition to our home. Kamree Jean was born on Oct. 5 at 7:26 am. She weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and was 19 inches long. We had a scheduled c-section that morning so we had to be there at 5:00 to get all ready and prepped for surgery. The morning of I decided I'd better get one picture of me being pregnant with her so I could show her later. So here I am, me and all my glory 9 months pregnant and glad to be done.

Anxiously waiting for our baby girl.

Here she is!!! We were able to record the c-section and it is gross! but, amazing too. Glad she cleaned up so good.

Her 1st real bath which she loves...

Proud brother. All he likes to do is kiss her head and look at her poop.?

Madi is our big helper who can't get enough of HER little baby. She makes sure Braxton knows whos sister it is everyday.

They both have been very good with her and love her to pieces. Soooo glad!

This is what happens when grandma comes to visit... we play dress up and take tons of pictures. Too bad I'm not very fast at getting them off my camera so she can see them.

We have enjoyed her so much already and love her very much!!

IT'S A GIRL!

We had our ultrasound today and found out we are having a baby girl! We (especially Madison) are super excited. Hopefully she'll be more like Braxton so he'll have a chance of an opinion with two sisters. Then Madison can be a mom to both of them. She looks so cute in her pictures- we're just hoping she has SOME hair. We can't wait to see what she looks like.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We had a BIRTHDAY! I can't believe my kids are already 4. They grow up so fast, it makes me realize how important it is to cherish everyday I get to spend with them. We had an "Under the Sea" party. The kids were so much fun and because of all the balloons they just wanted to play with them so it made it easy for games. The cakes I'm so proud of!! Seriously I only bake cakes on their birthdays so I was a little nervous attempting these. First, they fell out of the pan into pieces so after being pieced back together I was able to frost them. Thank goodness for frosting to hide the mess underneath.
Braxton's is an Octupus and Madison's is Nemo. They took me so long to do I was kind of sad when we had to cut into them for the kids.

We filled the basement with blue balloons to resemble water and had a big fish net full of fish. Then we had a few blow up fish so the kids could play with them. After the party the kids got to "Go Fish" for their take home buckets. It turned out really good and was an easy party to do.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADISON AND BRAXTON!
WE LOVE YOU!

Just ONE!

When Tyler and I had our twins we were told that because they were our first and they were fraternal we had a very high chance of having multiples again. So being prepared for this we've waited until our kids are four to have anymore. Yes, we are pregnant! It's hard being excited about it right now, living with my head in the toilet and having zero energy, but I will be hopefully soon. Fortunately, unlike with the twins, I do have some good days which keep me going. We have had a lot of anxiety about our Dr. appt. that was on the 14th because that was when we were going to find out how many we were having and how much of out lives were going to change. We were stressing about the medical bills, (obviously) where we were going to put more than one, having to finish our basement this soon, getting a bigger car, and most importantly the problems that twins come with being preemie. But we are happy to announce that there is only one and we are relieved and excited about actually enjoying the baby years. I'm 15 weeks along and due October 10th. Yeah!

Boys/Girls Night

Last Saturday Grandpa Wheatley took Tyler, Braxton, Kevin (Ty's brother) and his son Will to the Monster Truck show. The boys, big and small, LOVED it! Braxton wants every monster truck he sees and is constantly crashing and crushing things!

While the boys were off playing so were the girls. Grandma Wheatley took Madison and I to dinner and then her and Madison went to the movie Monsters vs Aliens and then shopping for a new dress and shoes, which she has now worn for three straight days! She had so much fun and bawled when Grandma left. We now have a rule that if Grandma wants to have a girls night with Madison she gets to have a sleep over too! =) Thanks for spoiling us! We love you!

Memories!

My mom was going through her storage and came across all my old dance costumes. Needless to say Madison and even Braxton have been having so much fun playing dress up. Each of these bring back so many fun memories, I just thought all you Dance Sourcers would love a walk down memory lane!

I actually could still fit into this one.... I didn't say it looked good, I was just able to put it on!

Madison keeps asking me, "When I get older can I wear this to the temple?"
I'll remind her I already have her wedding dress when she wants to spend 1000.00!

Family Pictures

We finally got some family pictures done. Here are a few of my favorites!

Sometimes I wish my kids would never grow up. Isn't this adorable?

Pictures make me remember the reasons why we are here. They bring back so many memories and good times in my life. They put a smile on my face when life starts getting too hectic. I just have to look at these and I am again reminded how grateful and unfulfilled I would be without my kids and husband in my life.

What We've Been Up To!

All of these pictures are old but I just wanted to have a record of the things that have happened to us these past few months. This is the newest picture of our house that I have. I know I know.

This is the day we bought our first lot! We finished building and moving into our house two days before Thanksgiving. The day after my whole family came and we had a flooded basement, no water, a big hole outside and a big mess. It did get fixed and cleaned up just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Talk about breaking in the house! We LOVE our house though and our neighborhood and friends that we've made being here. We also LOVE visitors!

This was the kids first day of Preschool. They were so excited and have done a very good job.
I can't believe they are already that old.

I really was actually happy. What's better than two hours of FREE time two days a week!
I'll cry when they go to kindergarten. =)

This is my brothers' fiance, Stephanie! isn't she cute! Their wedding is coming up in April.

I just needed to keep some proof that I actually got Tyler to paint his body green. Isn't he a great Shrek?
Just a few memorable moments. We are glad to back up and running.
