Update

Ok, so i'm officially not really back, yet! Our computer has got a virus on it so we had to cancel the internet while we are at Tyler's parents. However, as soon as we move in to our new house, which should be a couple of weeks.... we'll get everything up and running again. I'm especially excited to be able to read all about your lives the past 4 months. I can't believe how much I miss having the internet, it's so convenient. So, see you all soon!

I'm Back!

We've finally got our internet hooked up so I can continue updating. Here's a recap of the last couple of months.
St. George was wonderful! Excellent weather and lots of swimming and sun!
Tyler got bit by a Brown Recluse Spider the day before he was coming to get me and ended up in the hospital! Scary! My brother Mike got engaged at a St. George Roadrunners game and we absolutely love his fiance Stephanie. We sold our house while I was in St. George so after almost a month vacation I finally came home and have been packing and moving. We broke ground on our new home Yeah!! and we are living with Tyler's parents while our house is being built. Not to mention boating, water skiing, four wheeling, rafting, and all the other things that keep us busy in the Summer!

Fun in the Sun!

I'm off to have some fun in the sun, since it's June and we haven't made it to Summer yet I'm heading to St. George were they sun always shines! See you when I get back.

Our Favorite Things!

So one of our favorite things to do is go to Tyler's family cabin in Island Park. We visit there faithfully as often as we can. A week or so ago we went up to do some four wheeling. Spring time four wheeling is my favorite because it's not dusty, there are lots of puddles to go through and even some snow so it makes it fun and adventurous. Our kids LOVE it and beg to go to the cabin all the time. It's so much fun watching them have so much fun.

Braxton loving the puddles (a.k.a. rivers)

Sometimes we get tired!

Tyler, my brother Kody, cousin Brandon, me, Madison, Braxton, Richard and my sister Julie

We almost lost Brandon on this one, he thought he was going swimming! The front two wheels were actually floating.

This is Tyler's four wheeler that he got when he was little and it still runs!! The kids love it! We were in a gravel pit going up and down all the hills and you could hear the kids squealing the whole time. The bigger and faster the better! Kids come with guardian angels right?

My Babies are 3!!

I can't believe my kids are already 3! It's been a rollercoaster three years but the good times definitely out weigh the bad. I don't know what I would do without them. They are such a huge part of my life and I love them to pieces. The Party Gang!! Thank you to everyone that came. We had a blast!
The big birthday surprise. We were worried that they wouldn't be able to ride them, but a week ago they finally caught on. Needless to say I've spent that last two days walking the streets and trails of Pocatello following them on their bikes, which they love.

Here's a glimpse of their life. It was a rocky start for Madison who had to stay in the hospital for a month. She then came home with a heart monitor and oxygen for the next 3 months. Talk about scarey, hearing that alarm go off in the middle of the night. We were so happy to have all the tubes and tape off of her so we could see her beautiful face. Braxton was able to come home with us but he struggled with the suck and swallow concept. It was a long awaited reunion when we were finally able to bring Madison home and not have to juggle going back and forth to the hospital. Thank you to our wonderful Moms and friends who helped us. We couldn't have done it without you.

Although it was hard, especially the first year, I can honestly say I would do it all over! Thank goodness they get easier the older they get. And thank goodness their hair grew fast.=) I love them, they are my life!!!

Mr. Turtle and Hot Rod Granny

So one thing that is kind of weird about me is that a lot of times I look at people and think, If they were an animal they would be, a giraffe, a bear, a horse, a donkey etc etc. So when I met Tyler I instantly thought he looked like a turtle. To my delight while we were at Hogle Zoo I found this shell and made him get in for a picture. He's such a good sport. Don't you all agree with me, definitely a turtle.

This is my 100 year old great grandma. She's wild at heart. I was thinking the other day that when people get to be at the point where they should be in a nursing home don't put them in there. I say take them to all the places they've wanted to go and put them on a motorcycle to give them the ride of their life and if they die in the process then that's ok. At least they would be doing something they love instead of sitting in a wheel chair in a hospital. Maybe you'll all think that's mean but that's the way I want to go. I may not know your name or you might have to change my diaper =) but I'll still be loving life.

BYU Women's Conference

I had the opportunity to go to Women's Conference with my cousins, Katy, Brittney & Ashley and also my mother in law, Patty and her cousin, Peggy. It was the funnest two days. We laughed and cried, didn't sleep much but more importantly we were spiritually uplifted for two straight days. Not to mention we didn't have any children so naturally we are more relaxed and even a little immature. It was so much fun being with my cousins and reminiscing of the good ole days in Cove. I'm so thankful for them and their testimonies and the fun tradition we've started. Leaving the Conference being on a spiritual high just makes me want to be a better mom and wife. A lot of the talks we went to were about being enough. That doing our best is enough and we don't have to feel like we are falling short. The church is true and I love it!!

This picture didn't turn out too well, but that is President Monson and his wife. He was our surprise closing speaker of the conference. One of my favorite things is when there is a room full of 20,000 plus LDS women chatting away ( you can imagine how loud it was) and then all of a sudden, silence and here comes the Prophet. It was amazing. Everyone had tears in their eyes and the spirit was so strong. Just being in the room, you know he is a true Prophet of God. His words were inspirational and I'm determined to do a little better, but again, he reiterated that my best is enough. One more thing on a lighter side, during his talk I looked down at his sweet wife and she was asleep and I just got to thinking that to me he is the Prophet, the person closest to our Heavenly Father and I know Sister Monson knows that too, but to her he is just the man she fell in love with so many years ago. It just helps me realize that they are just like you and me and we can all be just like the Prophet and his wife.

The Answer

Madison has 11 pairs of underwear on. It must be a new fetish because that wasn't the last time.

I just got back from BYU Womens Conference so I'll post pictures from that later.

Guess How Many?

Madison makes me laugh. I sent her upstairs to get some socks and she came back with this.

Your job is to guess how many pairs of underwear she really has on.......

Planes, Grandmas and 100 birthdays!

My great grandma turned 100 on the 25th of April so my mom, sister, me and the kids went to Colorado to celebrate. Here are the kids on the airplane. The flight on the way there was not fun. It was very bumpy and made us all sick. But the kids loved going fast and watching out the window. They were really good. And I was glad I had help.
This is at the nursing home where my grandma is. They had a Happy Birthday crown on her head and she loved it. The kids loved to push all the Grandmas around, even the ones we didn't know. It was so cute to see them interact with all the grandmas.

Here is our five generation picture.
And our five genereation of hands. My mom sent this email to me once with this picture and we thought it was so neat. It looks really good when it's black and white, and I love how grandma is holding onto Madisons fingers. Those are her real nails by the way. Doesn't she look great?
It was so much fun to see my relatives and spend some time with them. Hopefully we can see them again soon!

Rrrrrrraaaaaarrrrrr!

Everyday, sometimes for a 1/2 and hour my kids will sit on the stair and wait for daddy to come home. They are waiting to scare him as he walks through the door. They love to watch him scream and act scared and they'll laugh so hard. It's so cute. Tyler acts like he is scared now, but the first time we did it he about peed his pants. That was funny!

My Sweeties

Don't you just love to walk in the room to find your kids hugging instead of fighting over a toy. I think that is one of a moms greatest joys is to have your kids love each other and play good together.

It's About Time.....

I know all of you are thinking it's about time that I got myself a blog, so here it is!!
Now I just have to figure out how to use it! I feel so cool being apart of the blogging world now, and it's only fair that I have my own since I read all of yours. I'm actually really excited about it just so that I can keep these memories that we're making everyday in a place that's really accessible. So we'll see how it goes.
